Linda Vincent

About this artist

Born in Nova Scotia, Linda Vincent moved to Fort McMurray with her family at the age of 12. For over ten years, she has lived independently in Edmonton where she works on her art. Her process often involves repetition, whether through small swirling lines or a pointillist style. Linda particularly enjoys drawing animals and has a keen sense of colour. Working primarily in acrylic Ink, she continually experiments with different styles and studies the work of other artists. Linda’s work has been featured in several exhibits, including a Refinery event at the Art Gallery of Alberta. As 2017’s Stantec Artist of the Year, Linda’s exhibition, Impossible Birds, was displayed in five different locations throughout the city of Edmonton.
