Gerald Bourlon

Gerald Bourlon began at the Nina just two years ago when he brought in a mysterious stack of tiles from his job at a tile factory. He went on to produce a series of mosaic works with great interest. Although Bourlon’s natural gift in color theory was present even in his earliest works, his subject matter grew in intricacy and thoughtfulness.

Today, Bourlon’s efforts are diligent and meticulous, and the results are harmonious, bright and optimistic. He is deeply dedicated to his process and uses studio time with great solemnity and commitment. As Bourlon cuts and arranges his tiles in intricate and inspired patterns, he deepens his understanding of himself and his manifestation to the world. Gerald is continuously developing his unique artistic voice and his eagerness to communicate his expression is inspiring to artists and patrons alike.
