About this artist
Amber Tyreman is a sculptor whose work often explores pop-culture and mythology. Recently she has been focusing on altering physical attributes of characters from movies, television, and lore, to create hybrid creatures. Often this fusing of characters is symbolic of their relationships, a visual representation of emotional connection.
Amber gets great satisfaction from sharing her work in exhibition spaces. She has developed a substantial body of work, with many pieces being selected for exhibition in the Nina’s Stollery Gallery and curated gift shop.
