join the #NinaArtChallenge
to stay creative at home!
The Nina has suspended our programs until the COVID-19 situation has stabilized, but we’re challenging all of our artists to keep making art at home with the #NinaArtChallenge!
Because we know our artists aren’t the only people stuck at home unexpectedly right now, we’d like to invite all of our friends and followers to participate in these art challenges as well. You can sign up now to receive the #NinaArtChallenge prompts by email and create along with us.

Follow the prompts to create art projects at home.
Let the prompts inspire you and get creative! These projects will require basic materials that most people have at home, but feel free to make them your own using whatever supplies you have available.
What can you draw without lifting your pencil off the paper?
Make a collage using materials you have at home. It can be abstract, or you can tell a story! Even if you don’t have glue, you can lay your pieces down on a flat surface and take a photo.
Bring the print studio home with you by making your own stamps using potatoes! Maddi shows us how simple it is to carve shapes out of potatoes and use them to create patterns and designs.
Our first #NinaArtChallenge is to make a portrait of yourself as a super hero! What super power will you have? Will you have a sidekick?
